Speaker Profile

Ji Deqiang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Communication University of China, specializing in the political economy of communication and international communication; he serves as Vice Director of the Ministry of Education's Joint Institute for International Communication and holds multiple academic editorial positions; his work advances the global dissemination of Chinese narratives.

Lecture Content

The session will analyze emerging trends in international communication, explore the historical, theoretical, and practical frameworks of China's communication initiatives, and use case studies to demonstrate pathways for contextualizing Chinese stories globally while contributing to an autonomous knowledge system.
