汕头大学工学院举办滨海智慧城市交叉学科学术论坛

汕头大学工学院将于2025年6月6日晚上8:00,在土木与智慧建设工程系工东301会议室举行工程研究学术论坛(第738期),主题为"滨海智慧城市交叉学科学术论坛"。本次活动聚焦土木工程与智慧城市领域的前沿研究,报告题目为"混凝土的断裂过程区及拉伸软化本构",旨在探讨混凝土材料的断裂力学特性及其在工程中的应用价值。

报告主题

混凝土断裂过程区的增韧机制表征及建模方法,重点分析通过实验观测确定的裂缝扩展阈值(尖端裂缝张开位移约0.5~2μm,尾端应变范围100~800με)以及基于黏聚裂缝模型的有限元分析技术。该方法降低了建模中的不适定问题,为混凝土结构断裂破坏分析提供了理论依据。

主讲嘉宾

陈红鸟教授(贵州大学土木工程学院博士生导师)将担任主讲人,主持人为汕头大学工学院副院长喻莹教授。陈红鸟教授长期从事建筑材料断裂力学研究,主持国家自然科学基金等项目多项,学术成果包括80余篇论文发表。

Shantou University College of Engineering Hosts Academic Forum on Coastal Smart Cities

The College of Engineering at Shantou University will hold the 738th Engineering Research Academic Forum at 8:00 PM on June 6, 2025. The event, themed "Coastal Smart Cities Interdisciplinary Academic Forum," will take place in Room 301, Gongdong Building, Department of Civil and Smart Construction Engineering. The forum centers on advanced research in civil engineering and smart cities.

Presentation Topic

Characterization and modeling of concrete fracture process zone toughening mechanisms, highlighting experimental thresholds for crack propagation (tip crack opening displacement approximately 0.5~2μm, tail strain range 100~800με) and cohesive crack model-based finite element analysis. This approach mitigates ill-posed problems in modeling and provides theoretical foundations for fracture analysis in concrete structures.

Speaker and Host

Prof. Hongniao Chen (Ph.D. supervisor, Guizhou University College of Civil Engineering) will deliver the presentation. Prof. Ying Yu, Vice Dean of the College of Engineering at Shantou University, will host the session. Prof. Chen specializes in fracture mechanics of construction materials and has led multiple national research projects with over 80 academic publications.

Audience

Faculty and students (including undergraduates and graduates) from the Department of Civil and Smart Construction Engineering are invited. Other interested members of the university community are welcome to attend.
