商学院启动2025年“领航火炬”奖学金评选工作

为激励商学院本科生在学术研究、学科竞赛、社会实践等领域的卓越表现，由校友郭师杰、林畅伉俪设立的"领航火炬"奖学金2025年度评选工作正式启动。商学院于2025年6月3日发布通知，面向全院本科生开展评选申报。

奖项设置

  • 一等奖：20,000元/人
  • 二等奖：10,000元/人
  • 三等奖：5,000元/人 年度总获奖名额不超过10人（其中三等奖不超过6人）

评选条件

  1. 一等奖：需满足下列条件之一

    • 获国家级个人荣誉（如中国大学生年度人物）
    • 获汕头大学奖章的优秀毕业生
    • 被四大权威排名(THE/QS/ARWU/U.S.News)交叉认定的全球前50名校录取
    • 在国家级核心赛事（挑战杯/创新大赛等）获三等奖以上且为团队第一完成人

  2. 二等奖：包含省级以上个人荣誉、重大竞赛省级一等奖、全球前100名校录取等

  3. 三等奖：需同时满足

    • 学业成绩：GPA排名专业前5%且综合素质评价前3%
    • 获两个以上教育部认可学科竞赛国家级奖项 或
    • 考取国内985高校/全球前150名校研究生

申请流程

  1. 材料提交：
    • 《奖学金申请表》（附件）
    • 获奖证明/科研成果/志愿服务记录等
  2. 截止时间：2025年6月8日
  3. 提交方式： 将电子材料压缩包（命名格式：年级+专业+姓名）发送至： 商学院团委邮箱 [email protected]

重要说明

  • 与国家奖学金及优秀学生奖学金三等奖互斥
  • 受校纪处分、体测不合格、逾期注册等情况不得参评

该奖学金体现校友反哺育人的优良传统，旨在培养全面发展的高素质商科人才。

Shantou University Business School Opens Applications for 2025 "Pilot Torch" Scholarship

Shantou University Business School announced the 2025 "Pilot Torch" Scholarship on June 3, 2025. Established by alumni couple Guo Shijie and Lin Chang, the scholarship aims to recognize outstanding undergraduates excelling in academics, competitions, and community service.

Award Structure

  • First Prize: ¥20,000
  • Second Prize: ¥10,000
  • Third Prize: ¥5,000 Maximum annual recipients: 10 (≤6 for third prize)

Eligibility

  1. First Prize requires meeting one criterion:

    • National-level individual honors
    • STU Medal recipient
    • Admission to top-50 global universities (cross-verified by THE/QS/ARWU/U.S.News)
    • National third prize or above as lead participant in major competitions

  2. Second Prize: Includes provincial honors, provincial competition gold awards, or top-100 university admission

  3. Third Prize requires either:

    • Academic excellence: Top 5% GPA & top 3% comprehensive evaluation plus two national competition awards Or
    • Postgraduate admission to China's 985 universities or top-150 global institutions

Application Procedure

  1. Required Materials:
    • Scholarship application form
    • Supporting documents (certificates, research proofs, service records)
  2. Deadline: June 8, 2025
  3. Submission: Compressed files (named: Grade+Major+Name) to: Business School Youth League Committee Email: [email protected]

Key Notes

  • Incompatible with National Scholarship/University Scholarship third prize
  • Disqualified if: under disciplinary action, failed physical test, or delayed registration
