The College of Science “Science Salon” series will host Dr. Lei Hongjie, lecturer at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Northwest A&F University, on Monday, November 3, for an academic lecture titled “Research on Optimizing Nitrogen Sources in High-Concentration Wort to Improve Beer Yeast Fermentation Performance.”

About the Speaker

Dr. Lei graduated from South China University of Technology and currently serves as a lecturer at Northwest A&F University. His research focuses on food fermentation and microbial metabolic regulation. During his doctoral studies, he published four SCI papers as first author with a cumulative impact factor of 11.227 and filed one patent application.
