STU Solicits 2026 Research Papers on United Front Work in Higher Education
It is reported that the Publicity and United Front Work Department of Shantou University has recently called on the university’s units and grassroots democratic party branches to submit theoretical research papers on united front work in higher education for 2026. The papers will be submitted to an exchange event to be held in the second half of this year by the Higher Education United Front Work Theory Research Committee of the Guangdong United Front Theory Research Association.
The solicitation aims to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on carrying out the Party’s united front work in the new era and to advance theoretical research and practice on united front work in higher education. The organizers have listed 38 reference topics covering areas such as theoretical innovation in the united front, forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, the new type of party system, united front work involving Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, overseas Chinese, and international communities, the organizational development of democratic parties, online united front work, and the sinicization of religion. Researchers are encouraged to pursue theoretical innovation based on a summary of practical experience.

Research papers should be sent to the Publicity and United Front Work Department at o_tzb@stu.edu.cn by October 10. Papers containing classified or sensitive content must be submitted on a disc to Room West 205 of the Administration Building and may not be transmitted over the internet.
