College of Liberal Arts to Hold College-Level Round of the 2026 China International College Students' Innovation Competition
It is reported that the Shantou University College of Liberal Arts will hold its college-level round of the 2026 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition to stimulate students’ innovation and entrepreneurship, and will select outstanding projects from the college final to recommend for the university-level competition.
Themed “I Dare to Venture, I Can Create,” this year’s competition features the Higher Education main track and the “Youth Red Dream-Building Journey” track. The college noted that the track and group settings follow the official standards of the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition; where these differ from the official 2026 documents, the latest official notice from higher authorities shall prevail.
Eligibility
Participants must be full-time students of the College of Liberal Arts (including undergraduates and graduate students) or graduates within five years of graduation. Participants must be at least 18 and no older than 35. The project leader must be a College of Liberal Arts student, and each person may lead only one project. Entries are registered on a team basis, with cross-college, cross-major, and cross-grade teams encouraged. Each team must have no fewer than 3 and no more than 15 members (including the leader), who must be actual core members of the project.

After submission, the college will organize a professional review panel to evaluate all participating projects. The college noted that where the schedule, track rules, and review criteria in this notice differ from the official 2026 competition notices later issued by the Ministry of Education, the Provincial Department of Education, or the university, the latest official document from higher authorities shall prevail. Participants should watch for the latest class announcements regarding the inquiry group.
