STU Opens Selection for Three Deputy Positions at Medical College Affiliated Hospitals
It is reported that, following the decision of the 17th meeting of the Shantou University Party Standing Committee in 2026, the university will openly select three deputy (deputy division-level) leaders for its Medical College affiliated hospitals. The selection is open to eligible in-service staff at the First Affiliated Hospital of the STU Medical College and the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to the Medical College.
According to the notice, the selection is conducted in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Leaders of Public Institutions, the Interim Measures for the Management of Public Hospital Leaders, and the STU Implementation Measures for the Selection and Appointment of Mid-Level Leading Cadres (Trial), through democratic recommendation, organizational review, and a decision by the Standing Committee.
Eligibility
- A bachelor’s degree or above, at least 10 years of work experience, and at least 5 years of experience in medical and health work
- At least 3 years in a full section-level (zhengke) position; those promoted directly from professional and technical posts should hold a senior (zhenggao) professional and technical title or a deputy-senior (fugao) title for at least 2 years, with at least 1 year as principal head of a clinical/business department
- Born after March 1, 1970 (retiring after July 2031), and in good health
- Annual assessments rated “qualified” or above over the past 3 years
