To align with the national digital economy and financial power strategy and to meet the demand for digital finance talent in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and eastern Guangdong, the STU Business School will hold an external review meeting on the evening of July 9, 2026, for its proposed Digital Finance undergraduate program. Experts in finance and economics from five universities have been invited to evaluate the curriculum.

According to the Business School, the meeting focuses on three core dimensions—interdisciplinarity, practicality, and innovation—to systematically examine the talent cultivation plan for the new Digital Finance major and deepen the collaborative education mechanism among finance, technology, and industry. The external review will draw on expert insights to clarify the program’s positioning and training objectives, optimize the course system, and integrate the development of financial theory, digital skills, and practical innovation—providing a sound basis for the program’s application and high-quality development.
