2026 Guangdong Provincial Student Military Training Camp to Be Held in Meizhou
According to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Military District Battle Readiness Construction Bureau, the 2026 Guangdong Provincial Student Military Training Camp will be held to inspire young students’ enthusiasm for serving the nation through military service and promote a society that cares for, loves, builds, and defends national defense.
The camp will take place from July 13 to 16, 2026, at the Lingnan National Defense Education Base in Huanghuai Town, Xingning City, Meizhou.
Each undergraduate institution may select four full-time sophomore students (two male, two female) for the undergraduate division. Directed military sergeants, enrolled veteran soldiers, students from public security and judicial academies, and sports specialists are not eligible. The organizing committee will conduct comprehensive screening based on actual registrations and camp capacity.
The program covers three main areas:

Participating teams are required to learn the following songs before entering the camp: “Chinese People’s Liberation Army Army Song,” “Chinese Air Force March,” “Student Military Training March,” “Strong Army Battle Song,” and “I Love the Father’s Blue Sky.”
Awards are divided into individual and team categories. Individual awards are given to the top eight performers in each discipline across the undergraduate, higher vocational, and high school divisions. Team awards, presented as plaques and certificates, are distributed among undergraduate, higher vocational, and high school groups at a ratio of 1:2:3:4 for first, second, third prizes and excellence awards respectively.
The STU People’s Armed Forces Department has notified colleges to actively encourage student participation and submit team registration forms by July 6.
