University Hospital Releases Summer Infectious Disease Prevention Guide, Encourages Good Hygiene Habits

According to the Resource Management Department at Shantou University, the hot and humid summer weather and increased mosquito activity have ushered in the peak season for infectious diseases including hand-foot-mouth disease, herpangina, norovirus infection, and dengue fever. To protect the health of faculty and students and strengthen the summer safety defense, the University Hospital has compiled scientific prevention knowledge and encourages all members of the university community to develop good hygiene habits, take proactive personal protection, and scientifically avoid health risks.
