Math and Computer College Holds China International College Student Innovation Competition (2026) Preliminary
According to the College of Mathematics and Computer Science at Shantou University, to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education, the college is hosting the 2026 China International College Student Innovation Competition preliminary.
The competition theme is “I Dare to Innovate, I Know How.” Two tracks are offered — the Main Track and the “Youth Red Dream Journey” Track — with procedures aligned with the university-level competition.
Open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students, or graduates within five years of graduation. All participants must be aged 18 to 35. The project leader must be a student of the College of Mathematics and Computer Science. Each participant may serve as leader of only one project but may join other teams as a member.
Teams consist of 3 to 15 members. Cross-grade and cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged to leverage interdisciplinary innovation advantages.

The preliminary review will evaluate projects based on innovation, feasibility, commercial value, social significance, and implementation prospects. Winning projects will be recommended for advancement to the university-level competition.

All winning teams will receive college-level certificates. Top projects will be prioritized for advancement to the university-level semi-finals and will receive targeted project refinement and competition guidance from the college.
