Math and Computer College Holds 'Yuanzhi New Wave' College Student AI Agent Innovation Competition Preliminary
According to the College of Mathematics and Computer Science at Shantou University, to implement the Education Powerhouse Development Planning Outline (2024-2035) and the State Council’s “AI+” action deployment, the college is hosting the 2026 Guangdong Provincial “Yuanzhi New Wave” College Student AI Agent Application Innovation Competition preliminary.
The competition, themed “Smart Bay Area, Empowered by AI,” offers two tracks:

| Educational AI Agent Special Track | Focuses on teaching, scientific research, campus management, and learning support, designing deployable and reusable AI agent solutions |
| Cross-Industry General AI Agent Track | Targets practical scenarios in government, healthcare, transportation, culture and tourism, environmental protection, and other industries |
Open to full-time undergraduates, each team consists of 1 to 5 members. The project leader must be an undergraduate student in the College of Mathematics and Computer Science. Each leader may submit only one project, and each student may participate in a maximum of two teams.

All winning teams will receive college-level certificates. Top projects will be prioritized for advancement to the provincial competition.
