STU Launches Open Selection for Vice Dean of College of Science

It is reported that, based on operational needs and approval at the 17th meeting of the Party Standing Committee in 2026, the university is openly selecting one Vice Dean for the College of Science from its current eligible staff.

Eligibility Requirements

The selection follows the Management Regulations for Public Institution Leaders and STU’s Interim Measures for the Selection and Appointment of Mid-Level Cadre Leaders:

• Firm political stance with a team-oriented and strategic mindset
• Master’s degree and PhD in a relevant field
• Associate senior professional title or above, with at least 1 year of management experience
• Born after March 1, 1970
• Passed annual assessments for the past 3 years

Selection Process

The selection will proceed through democratic recommendation, organizational review, and a decision by the Party Standing Committee.
