It is reported that the Academic Affairs Office has announced the registration schedule for make-up and deferred exams for the 2026-2027 Fall semester. Registration opens on September 4, and exams are expected to be held on September 18 and 19.

Eligibility

Students eligible to apply include: those who were approved for deferred exams in Spring 2026; those who failed required course (theory) exams in their major program in Spring 2026; and those who graduated but are within one year of completion and failed required course (theory) exams in Spring 2026. Students who failed elective courses or minor program required courses, or who were disqualified from exams or violated exam regulations, are not eligible and must retake the courses instead.

Schedule

  • Registration: September 4, 9:00 to September 5, 17:00, 2026
  • Exams: Expected to be held on September 18–19, 2026
  • Grade submission: Instructors must submit Spring 2026 final grades via the academic system by July 31

How to Register

Log in to the academic affairs system at https://jw.stu.edu.cn, navigate to [Exam Registration] → [Grade Management] → [Make-Up Exam Registration], find the required course and click “Register.” Late applications will not be accepted.

Notes

Students who have been approved for deferred exams must also register within the specified period, or their deferred exam opportunity will be forfeited. No exam arrangements will be made for unregistered students. Deferred and make-up exams will be held concurrently; no additional exam will be arranged for those who fail or miss the deferred exam. Students who fail to attend or who still fail after taking the exam will have their grades recorded accordingly and must retake the course.
