Abstract

This report establishes a precise link between block decompositions and logarithmic integrability, solving a longstanding open problem concerning the relationship between block spaces B_q^{0,v}(S^{n-1}) and Orlicz-type spaces L(log L)^{1+v}(S^{n-1}).

About the Speaker

Professor Chen Yanping is a doctoral supervisor and Director of the Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Studies at Northeastern University, specializing in harmonic analysis and its applications. She has received the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Science Fund (Category A), the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, and a National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation nomination.
