Abstract
This report establishes a precise link between block decompositions and logarithmic integrability, solving a longstanding open problem concerning the relationship between block spaces B_q^{0,v}(S^{n-1}) and Orlicz-type spaces L(log L)^{1+v}(S^{n-1}).
