It is reported that the Network and Information Center issued a notice on June 23 regarding the adjustment of 2026 graduates’ campus network account permissions and STU email accounts, with relevant changes to take effect from August 11.

Campus Network Account Permissions

According to the notice, graduates’ campus network account access to various application systems will be adjusted by the respective departments (Academic Affairs System, Student Affairs System, MYSTU, etc.) based on actual circumstances. The STU email accounts will be uniformly converted to alumni email accounts between August 11 and August 13, 2026.

Email Conversion Details

After conversion, the login page remains unchanged at http://m.stu.edu.cn, but the email address will be modified from the xxx@stu.edu.cn format to xxx@alumni.stu.edu.cn. The mailbox storage capacity and historical email content will not be affected.

Office365 and OneDrive Changes

The notice reminds graduates that the Office365 license used during their time at the university will be reclaimed on August 11, 2026. After that date, Office365 clients will prompt for reactivation and can no longer be used. Additionally, due to changes in OneDrive authorization, personal OneDrive files will become inaccessible. Graduates are advised to back up their personal emails and OneDrive data in a timely manner; data loss due to failure to back up will be the responsibility of the individual.

After the transition, graduates can access their alumni email data via the web at http://m.stu.edu.cn.

Arrangements for Graduates Staying at the University

Graduates who will remain at the university for work should email support@stu.edu.cn before August 11, 2026 to apply. Campus network accounts and STU email accounts will be processed through account changes according to the HR department’s check-in procedures.
