Weekly Events at STU (June 22–28)

It is reported that the Party and Administration Office has released the schedule of major meetings and events for the week of June 22–28.

Medical & Public Service — On June 22, a public eye health event was held in Jiexi County, alongside the STU-Jiexi County cooperation meeting. The Eye Center East Coast campus officially opened on June 23.

Graduation Season — The graduation ceremony coordination meeting and recruitment promotion meeting were held on June 23. A university leaders’ lunch with students took place on June 24. The 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Awards Presentation was held on the morning of June 26 at the East Coast campus indoor gymnasium.

Academics — On June 22, an AI-empowered teaching training program for key faculty began in Guangzhou. A meeting on proposed new doctoral degree authorization points was held on June 26 afternoon. The New Quality Productive Forces International Joint Research Institute Think Tank Forum will take place on June 28.

University Meetings — The President’s Office Meeting and Party Standing Committee Meeting were held on June 24. Other events included high-level talent recruitment meetings, procurement work meeting, volunteer symposium, a Western Plan (西部计划) and “百千万工程” volunteer symposium, and a brain-computer interface clinical transformation ceremony.
