It is reported that the International College will organize a group movie screening for enrolled international students on the evening of June 18. The film, A Love Letter to Grandma, aims to help international students better understand Chaoshan’s Qiaopi (overseas Chinese remittance letters) culture and experience local family stories.

Event Details

The film will be shown at Xingyuehui Time Theater Cinema. Participation is limited to 40 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific meeting time and location will be announced separately.

Registration

All enrolled international students are eligible to register via QR code scan. Given the limited spots, registered participants are expected to attend unless under exceptional circumstances.

Guidelines

  • Participants must arrive at the designated meeting point on time and travel together with the group to the cinema
  • Maintain quiet and orderly conduct during the screening
  • A brief random interview will be arranged after the film for participants to share their thoughts
  • Stay safe and travel in groups during the trip

The event is free of charge.
