Abstract

This talk focuses on a parabolic–hyperbolic system for tumor growth, a coupled system of PDEs with Robin boundary conditions involving nutrient density, extracellular matrix, and matrix-degrading enzymes. By transforming the free boundary into a fixed boundary, the existence and uniqueness of a radially symmetric stationary solution is proved. Using the fixed point theorem, global-in-time existence and uniqueness of the radially symmetric solution is obtained.
