Guangdong Provincial Party History Research Office Announces 2nd Party History Micro-Video Competition
It is reported that the Guangdong Provincial Party History Research Office, in collaboration with Southern Daily and the Southern+ Client, will hold the 2nd Guangdong Party History Micro-Video Exhibition and Showcase. The call for submissions targets high-quality party history multimedia works provincewide, marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The competition focuses on the theme of “the Guangdong Party organization’s united leadership of the people in revolutionary, construction, and reform struggles,” centering on Guangdong’s century-long party history journey. Key creative directions include “party-building leadership,” “red spirit inheritance,” and “revitalization of red historical resources.”

Entries must be original micro-videos, including micro-documentaries, mini-films, feature short films, and public service promotional videos, with a recommended length of 30 seconds to 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes. Accepted formats are MP4, MOV, or MPG, with file sizes between 50MB and 500MB, and no advertising content allowed.
From August 1 to 31, the Southern+ Client will open a public voting channel. Beginning in September, the results will be published. Selected entries will be regularly broadcast on the Southern+ Client, the Provincial Party History Research Office website, the “Guangdong Party History” WeChat account, and WeChat channels. Outstanding works may be featured on the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute’s “Century of Glory” video account.
