Xingchuan College to Host Dragon Boat Festival Celebration

With the support of the Changjiang School of Journalism and Communication Youth League Committee, Xingchuan College will host a Dragon Boat Festival themed event titled “Zongzi Love, New Heritage of Elegance” on June 13 at 17:00 at Donghai Campus Canteen 1. Led by the 2025 cohort classes, the event is open to all college residents.

Four activities are planned. “Wrap the Zongzi, Wrap the Love” features on-site instruction, with participants working in groups of eight to make zongzi, which will then be steamed and shared. “Act It Out, Guess the Word” has two performers and six guessers per round within two minutes, with five points per correct answer. “Bean-Catching Challenge” requires participants to use chopsticks to transfer mung beans between bowls within a time limit. “Blessing Station” invites attendees to write Dragon Boat Festival wishes on sticky notes to be shared across the college.

Registration is available through the “Dream Space” (到梦空间) app on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will receive second-classroom credits and aesthetic education points for the Journalism School’s comprehensive evaluation.
