It is reported that the STU Youth League Committee and the STU Student Simulated CPPCC Association will host the 2026 Shantou Simulated CPPCC Proposal Collection and Evaluation Activity. Co-organized by the Shantou Youth League, the CPPCC Proposal Committee, the Municipal Education Bureau, and the People’s CPPCC Theory Research Association, the event is open to all STU students (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral). The activity runs from June to October 2026.

Student teams are expected to select topics based on their studies and daily life, focusing on education, youth development, employment and entrepreneurship, economic development, social governance, livelihood security, technological innovation, and ecological civilization. Proposals must follow the standard CPPCC format and be grounded in thorough research.

The competition consists of four phases: registration (by June 17), research and drafting (by September 9), preliminary evaluation, and final competition. Prizes include one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, four excellence awards, and awards for outstanding organization and advisors.

Each team must consist of 3 to 4 members with one faculty advisor. Team names should be limited to 5 characters. Proposals must follow the “one matter, one proposal” principle and use the standard format “Proposal on…”, with a body text of no more than 2,000 characters.
