STU Begins Recommending Candidates for 2026 Guangdong Young Marxist Training Project
It is reported that the Guangdong Provincial Youth League and the Guangdong Student Federation will host the 2026 Guangdong University Students’ Young Marxist Training Project (Qingma Project) at the Guangdong Youth League School. STU has been allocated two nomination slots — one for an undergraduate and one for a postgraduate student.
The intensive training will take place from July 13 to 24 at the Guangdong Youth League School in Guangzhou, focusing on ideal and belief education as well as capacity building. Participants will engage in self-study of books including Xi Jinping and College Students and join themed reading and exchange activities. A one-year follow-up tracking phase will follow, including regional exchange sessions, online discussions, and social practice activities.
Each college’s Youth League committee may recommend up to two candidates, with priority given to outstanding graduates of the university-level Qingma class, representatives of the “Youth Practitioner Plan,” leaders of the “Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project”突击 teams, project leaders of the “Challenge Cup” and “Climbing Plan,” and exceptional student cadres. Application materials must be submitted to o_tw@stu.edu.cn by 17:30 on June 19.
