College of Science Launches 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Graduate Selection
The College of Science and Zhicheng College have announced the launch of the 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Graduate selection process.
Eligibility Criteria
Basic requirements:
- Comprehensive development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education
- Cumulative GPA ranking within the top 20% of the same grade and program
- No retaken compulsory courses
- At least one university-level scholarship or above
- Outstanding graduation thesis, or provincial third prize or above in academic competitions
Priority conditions (one of the following):
- Social service: Active participation in social practice, volunteer work, or public welfare with notable contributions
- Service to peers: Held a key student leadership role for one year or more with outstanding performance
- Grassroots service: Military service, or participation in “Three Supports and One Assistance” and western (mountainous) region volunteer programs
Application Process
Applicants must submit the completed application form with a personal statement (800+ characters) and supporting materials to their advisor’s email by June 14, 2026 (Sunday). The email subject should follow the format: “Outstanding Graduate Application + Major + Name.” Physical copies must also be submitted to the advisor.
A review committee will evaluate all applications. The selection ratio is capped at 5% of each department’s graduates. Selected students will be awarded the “Outstanding Graduate” title with a certificate of honor.
