School of Engineering Opens 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate Selection

The School of Engineering has opened the 2026 Outstanding Undergraduate selection to recognize exemplary graduates and promote academic excellence across the student body.
Eligibility:
- Firm political stance, law-abiding, no disciplinary violations during studies
- Received university-level (or higher) scholarship or honor
- GPA ranking in the top 10% within the same grade and major
- Excellent graduation thesis/project
- Priority will be given to candidates who have actively participated in social practice, volunteer service, or public welfare activities; achieved outstanding results in entrepreneurship or research; or won provincial-level (or higher) awards in subject competitions
- Students who have enlisted in the military, joined the “Three Supports and One Assistance” program, or participated in the Western (Mountain) Volunteer Service program may be considered with relaxed standards
Application Process:
- Graduating students must complete the STU School of Engineering Outstanding Undergraduate Application Form, attach supporting materials and an 800-word personal achievement essay, and submit all electronic materials to the student counselor email by 16:00 on June 11, 2026
- A selection committee appointed by the school will review all applications and determine the final recipients
Award Quota: The number of awards is capped at 3% of the graduating undergraduate cohort. The final quota will be determined based on the total number of applicants.
