The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Zhixing Academy have jointly launched the 2025-2026 excellence awards to recognize outstanding students and promote all-around development.
Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Individual award nominations are capped at 15% of the eligible population.
Award Categories
| Category | Eligibility Summary |
|---|---|
| Outstanding Party and League Cadre | Firm political stance, active involvement in party and league building, ideological education, and youth guidance |
| Zhixing Academic Excellence | Excellent academic performance, top ranking in major, no failed courses; active in peer tutoring and study-sharing activities |
| Outstanding Residential Mentor | Dedicated to freshman support, academic supervision, dorm management, and academy event organization |
| Outstanding Student Cadre | Served as a class committee member for a full academic year with strong work ethic and proven results |
| Public Welfare Star | Active in volunteer service, community support, and charity activities with substantial service hours |
| Media and Communication Star | Dedicated to campus publicity, new media operations, content creation, photography, and event promotion |
| Culture and Sports Star | Active participation in cultural performances, sports competitions, and extracurricular activities with outstanding results |
| Outstanding Graduating Student | For 2026 graduates only; law-abiding, good conduct, no failed courses or disciplinary action, well-rounded performance |
Application Process
- Complete the application form (Attachment 1) and submit, by June 12, 2026, the following to the Student Union email: o_chemtw@stu.edu.cn

- The Student Union will screen materials, form a review committee, compile a preliminary list, and submit it to the college Party committee for final approval
- The list will be publicly displayed for 3 working days. After the objection period, the final list will be published and honor certificates awarded
