2026 National College English Test (CET) Candidate Instructions

The 2026 National College English Test (CET) will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The following instructions apply to all candidates.
Exam Schedule
- CET-4 (Band 4): 9:00-11:20
- CET-6 (Band 6): 15:00-17:25
Entry Requirements and ID Verification

All candidates must bring an ID card and exam ticket (student ID is not required). Exam tickets must be printed by candidates from the registration website.

Lost Documents:
- Lost ID card: Provide a government-issued ID certificate with a recent photo or a temporary ID card from the public security authority. A copy of the ID card is not accepted.
- Lost exam ticket on test day: Report to the exam administration office.
- Sangpu Mountain Campus: Room 102, E Lecture Hall
- East Coast Campus: Room E105

Entry Verification:
- Sangpu Mountain Campus: All candidates must pass through facial recognition gates. Hold your ID card in front of the terminal for verification before entering the exam area. Candidates with Hong Kong/Macau ID, temporary ID, or ID receipts should use the emergency lane.
- East Coast Campus: Electronic class list verification is used. Candidates must have both ID card and exam ticket ready. Verification is conducted at the electronic terminal outside the exam room (classroom). Wait for the invigilator to arrive before entering. Candidates whose Hong Kong/Macau ID, temporary ID, or ID receipt cannot be verified by the terminal should contact the floating patrol officer on the floor.
Entry Times
- CET-4: Entry begins at 8:20 on test day
- CET-6: Entry begins at 14:20 on test day
Listening Test and Supplies
- English candidates: After entering the exam room, adjust your headphones to receive the campus signal (FM 73.2) as soon as possible. Remove your headphones immediately after the listening section ends; failure to do so will be treated as a violation.
- Japanese candidates: No headphones required. Listening tests use broadcast mode.
Permitted Items
- Headphones and batteries
- 2B pencils (required)
- Black pens
- Erasers
Note: Low-quality pencils may cause scanning errors. Use standard examination supplies.
Prohibited Items
- Books, papers, bags
- Recording devices, electronic notepads
- Communication devices (including mobile phones, MP3 players, and other electronics)
Any prohibited items brought into the exam room must be handed over to the invigilator for safekeeping; otherwise, the act will be treated as cheating.
Exam Discipline
- Arrive at the assigned exam room on time and follow all instructions from the invigilator.
- Late arrivals after 9:00 (CET-4) or 15:00 (CET-6) will not be admitted.
- Leaving the exam room during the test is not permitted.
