STU Joint Departments Issue Notice on Student Discipline Education During 2026 National College Entrance Exam
To maintain strict exam discipline, uphold the integrity of the National College Entrance Exam, and ensure the smooth implementation of the 2026 Gaokao, the General Office of the Party Committee, Admissions and Employment Office, Student Affairs Office, and Graduate School have jointly issued a notice requiring all colleges to strengthen student education and management and to prevent students from participating in exam substitution or cheating activities.
The notice outlines three key priorities:
1. Screen for harmful information. Prior to the Gaokao, each college must comprehensively screen campus information related to exam substitution services and the recruitment of “substitute test-takers,” with a focus on student activity areas such as dormitories, cafeterias, teaching buildings, and libraries, as well as campus networks. Any harmful information discovered must be promptly addressed and reported to relevant authorities in accordance with regulations.
2. Strengthen student education and management. Each college must use class meetings, seminars, and notices to deliver specialized education to all students on preventing exam substitution and cheating. Emphasis should be placed on integrity education, exam discipline, legal awareness, and case-based warnings. Students must be made aware of the harms and legal consequences of participating in exam substitution or cheating, and be guided to abide by laws and regulations and stay away from such misconduct.
3. Manage student whereabouts during the Gaokao period (June 7–9). Colleges must完善 the student leave registration system, track students’ destinations when leaving campus, verify students who leave without cause, and address any issues promptly. Effective measures must be taken to monitor the whereabouts of students who do not return to campus during the exam period, to eliminate exam substitution and cheating.
