Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College Party Committee Launches 2026 'Excellent Party Member and Worker' Selection
The Party Committee of STU’s Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College (also known as the Carbon Neutrality Future Technology College) has launched the 2026 selection of “Excellent Communist Party Members” and “Excellent Party Affairs Workers.” The initiative aims to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s thought, motivate Party organizations and members at all levels, and establish a campus-wide culture of learning from, honoring, and surpassing advanced role models. Through this recognition, the college seeks to showcase the exemplary conduct and spirit of outstanding members, setting a benchmark for others and encouraging Party members to support the university’s high-quality development.
Selection Scope and Quotas
Up to 15% of each branch’s Party members may be selected as “Excellent Communist Party Members,” and each branch may recommend one “Excellent Party Affairs Worker.” Recipients of these honors within the past two years are generally not eligible for re-nomination.
Eligibility
Excellent Communist Party Members must be formal CPC members. In addition to core political criteria, candidates must meet:
- Undergraduate Party members: at least one comprehensive scholarship in the past two years;
- Graduate Party members: at least one second-class academic scholarship in the past two years.
Excellent Party Affairs Workers must meet the above conditions for Excellent Communist Party Members, and additionally demonstrate dedication to Party affairs work, pragmatism, innovation, solid professional knowledge, and significant achievements in Party building; they must also enjoy high prestige among Party members and the broader community.
Selection Process
The process follows a bottom-up approach: Nomination → Review → Verification → Public Notice (5 working days) → Decision. The College Party Committee will convene a meeting to determine the final award recipients and report the results to the University Party Committee Organization Department for the record.
Submission Requirements
Each Party branch must submit the nomination forms and summary tables by June 9 to: o_chemtw@stu.edu.cn.
