Overview

The Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication is recruiting 30 peer mentors from its 2024 and 2025 undergraduate cohorts to assist the class of 2026 in transitioning to university life, focusing on ideological guidance, academic support, psychological care, and daily life orientation.

Requirements

  • Support Party policies and comply with university regulations
  • Good academic standing, no course retakes
  • Strong sense of social responsibility and dedication
  • Priority given to those with student leadership,社会实践, volunteer, or campus activity experience

Responsibilities

  1. Organize freshmen into consultation groups and answer questions
  2. Attend specialized training in early September
  3. Assist with registration and introduce the school and college
  4. Visit dormitories to understand freshmen’s needs
  5. Act as a bridge between counselors and freshmen
  6. Support orientation and military training activities

From the admission list announcement to October 8, 2026

  • Complete the peer mentor application form and upload it via the questionnaire; scan the QR code to join the consultation group
  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews

Service hours count toward i-volunteer program and comprehensive evaluation bonus points.
