On-Campus Application Schedule
The Research Office has forwarded the 2026 NSSF Education Major Project bidding announcement. Applicants must register on the National Education Science Planning Management Platform (https://202.205.185.227/) and read the FAQ (Attachment 3).

National Bidding Overview
Approved by the Ministry of Education Party Group, the 2026 NSSF Education Major Projects are open for national bidding:
- Issuing body: National Education Science Planning Leading Group Office (NESP Office)
- Eligibility: Universities, ministry-affiliated institutions, provincial-level research institutes, party schools, etc.
- Quantity: 22 bidding topics; generally one winning bid per topic
- Funding: 600,000 RMB per project, with selective rolling funding after mid-term review
- Duration: 2–5 years (2–3 for applied research, up to 5 for basic research)
Eligibility
Chief experts must hold a senior professional title or bureau-level position; those leading similar ongoing national-level projects are ineligible. One chief expert per team, one project per expert.
Sub-topic leads must hold an associate senior title or above, and may participate in only one bid. Current leaders of NSSF major projects or MOE key projects cannot serve as sub-topic leads.
