According to the Resource Management Office (STU Hospital), tobacco use remains a major public health threat, with smoking and secondhand exposure linked to respiratory diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and malignancies. To support the Healthy China initiative and promote a smoke-free campus, the hospital is conducting a tobacco control awareness campaign.
The 2026 World No Tobacco Day theme is “Youth Without Tobacco, Unlimited Future.” The hospital has compiled information on tobacco hazards and cessation methods for all students and staff, urging everyone to firmly refuse that first cigarette and远离 tobacco for a healthier future.
