International Students Learn CPR and AED Skills in Immersive Training
Training Overview
According to the International College, a CPR and AED training course organized by STU Hospital and delivered by the Guangdong Red Cross was recently held, with many international students participating to learn emergency rescue knowledge and practical skills.
Training Content
Red Cross instructors combined theoretical explanations with live demonstrations, covering emergency response procedures, CPR techniques (compression frequency, rescue breathing standards), and AED operation. From assessing consciousness and calling for help to chest compressions, airway management, and AED deployment, each step was demonstrated with detailed guidance.
Student Feedback
Rong, a student from Turkmenistan, said the training was practical and professional, teaching standard CPR methods and AED skills that are essential life-saving techniques.
Zhong, a student from Indonesia, noted that the systematic training improved her emergency response awareness and ability to protect herself and help others in critical situations.
