Shantou Youth League Visits Journalism School to Build "Little Tangerine" Youth Publicity Team
Meeting
On May 26, the Shantou Youth League Committee held its first university practice education research meeting at the Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication. The two sides reached preliminary consensus on forming the “Little Tangerine” (小青桔) youth publicity volunteer team and establishing practical teaching bases.
Cooperation
Youth League Secretary Huang Shan outlined the “Little Tangerine” plan, which will focus on Shantou’s Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project and youth-friendly city initiatives, telling the stories of returned entrepreneurs and young business leaders from a youth perspective.
STU Youth League Secretary Chen Yichun noted that the university’s journalism talent resources enable a win-win: “the city gains publicity, students gain practice.”
Next Steps
Both sides will accelerate team selection and training, building a youth publicity volunteer brand with Shantou characteristics through the “professional training + real-world tasks” model.
