The 9th “You Can” Female Outstanding Graduates Sharing Session invites several outstanding graduates to share their growth stories and participate in a roundtable discussion, highlighting the strength and resilience of young students in academics, practice, innovation, and life planning.

Chen X. (Class of 2022, English)

  • Admitted to Beijing Foreign Studies University for graduate study; recipient of the National Scholarship and STU Commendation Certificate
  • Won a provincial first prize in the Guangdong youth “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project” short-video competition
  • Former captain of the “Wen Si” multilingual outreach team
  • Talk: Dare to Grow into Your Own Tall Tree and Embrace Unlimited Possibilities

Gao W. (Class of 2022, Law)

  • Admitted to Nanjing University Law School for a Master of Laws degree and passed the national bar exam
  • Ranked second in GPA and first in overall evaluation for 2024–2025
  • Received the STU Outstanding Student Scholarship for 2024–2025
  • Talk: Before All Things Grow, There Is Quiet Rooting

He M. (Class of 2022, New Media)

  • Admitted to Northwest University for graduate study; exchange student at Waseda University, Japan
  • Signed outdoor photographer for the “Mountain Image Makers” project
  • Traveled to more than 60 cities across China and overseas over four years
  • Talk: Don’t Be a Standard-Answer Potted Plant, Be a Tree That Grows Wild

Zhang J. (Class of 2022, Business Administration)

  • Recipient of the STU Comprehensive First-Class Scholarship; national first prize in the Business Elite Challenge
  • Won first prize in Tencent Cloud Agent Application (Beijing stop) TradeMate, Douyin AI Creator Intuition X, and the DIIS Hardware Hackathon Most Incubation Value Award
  • Talk: Wild Growth: How a Business Major Girl Became a Full-Stack Developer

Roundtable Forum

Jian X. (Class of 2022, Optoelectronics)

  • Admitted to the School of Physics, Northeast Normal University
  • Former head of the STU Student Union Office, now a part-time counselor at the College of Science

Wen S. (Class of 2022, Nursing)

  • Admitted to Southern Medical University
  • Recipient of an STU Excellent Volunteer award and a bronze award in the National Blood Donation Contribution Program
  • Shared volunteer service experience at the Lanzhou University First Hospital hospicе and served as a youth backbone in the community

Zhang J. (Class of 2023, Chemistry)

  • Admitted to Beijing University of Chemical Technology for doctoral study
  • Recipient of the National Scholarship for Undergraduate Students and Graduate Students
  • Named an Outstanding Graduate of Hebei Province and a Hebei Provincial Model Student
