The Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication, together with Xingchuan College, is holding the 31st session of the “Art and Life” series: “Capture the Moment That Moves You, Not Just a Good Photo — Ueda Yoshihiko Photography Appreciation.”

About the Event
Ueda Yoshihiko, a world-renowned master photographer known for his minimalist, tranquil visual language and restrained Eastern aesthetic, will be the subject of this appreciation session. Ling Xuemin will screen classic works, analyze Ueda’s creative journey, lighting and composition techniques, and explore the balance between commercial photography and artistic creation.
About the Speaker
Ling Xuemin is a lecturer at the Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication, Shantou University. He graduated from the Tokyo College of Photography in Japan, specializing in advertising photography and digital art. He holds a Japanese Photography Skills certification and worked as a professional photographer in Japan. His award-winning works have been exhibited in Tokyo and toured across Japan.
