Abstract

The talk focuses on crystal bases and their combinatorial models in quantum group representation theory. It introduces the concept of crystal bases through examples, explains how crystal graphs describe representations and tensor product decompositions, covers perfect crystal theory for quantum affine algebras and Young wall realizations of affine highest weight crystals, and discusses applications in i-quantum groups, quiver Hecke algebra representations, and polytopal realizations of crystal bases.

About the Speaker

Dr. Han Shaolong received his PhD from Harbin Engineering University and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at BICMR, Peking University. His research focuses on quantum group representation theory and combinatorial representation theory. He has published in Lett. Math. Phys., Commun. Contemp. Math., and holds funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and NSFC.
