Engineering Students Visit Zhangshan-Shanwei HSR Construction Site for Field Practice

Overview

On May 24, led by faculty members including Associate Director Wu Ming, over 130 students from the bridge and intelligent construction programs visited the Zhangshan-Shanwei HSR (Guangdong section) construction site for a practical session of the Bridge Engineering course.

Activities

Students toured the project’s party-building exhibition hall, smart construction control center, continuous beam construction site, and precast beam yard, learning about cantilever casting, box girder production, and intelligent construction technologies.
