Admissions and Employment Office Launches "Let‘s Talk Careers" WeChat Article Submission Campaign

Overview

The Admissions and Employment Office has announced a WeChat article submission campaign titled “Let’s Talk Careers — The Road to Employment” (约吧·就业之路), aimed at fostering a culture of active employment among graduates and showcasing exemplary career paths.

Timeline

May 22 to June 15, 2026

Submission Guidelines

The campaign is open to 2026 graduates and other students who interview graduates and write articles on their behalf. Submissions may cover the following themes:

  • Employment (including Western Plan and grassroots positions)
  • Graduate Studies (including overseas study)
  • Military Service
  • Civil Service Examinations
  • Entrepreneurship

Articles should be heartfelt and clearly themed, drawing on personal campus experiences and highlighting individual strengths. Practical tips on job hunting, exam preparation, or career planning are encouraged, supported by real examples and data. Any literary form is accepted, with articles ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 characters;图文结合 (image-text) formats are preferred.

All submissions must be original and unpublished elsewhere.

Awards

Selected entries will receive ¥200 and a certificate. Winning articles will be featured on the “STU Employment Online” WeChat account, the STU student employment website, and the freshman career development handbook, and may later be compiled into a promotional booklet.

How to Submit

Send your work (images encouraged) as a compressed attachment to job@stu.edu.cn, with the email subject formatted as “Let’s Talk Careers + Year Major + Name + Student ID.” Authors who have already published a WeChat article may include the article link in the email body.
