STU Launches 2026 Student Financial Aid Model Selection
Three Award Categories Open
According to a notice from the STU Student Affairs Office, the university is launching the 2026 Student Financial Aid Model Selection in accordance with Guangdong Provincial Education Department requirements. Three categories are available: Financial Aid Best Practice Case, Outstanding Financial Aid Worker, and Inspiring Student Success Story.
Category Highlights
Financial Aid Best Practice Case focuses on innovative approaches to implementing national aid policies over the past two years, covering areas such as needs assessment, targeted aid, aid education, and digital transformation. Submissions are limited to 3,000 words with up to 3 authors, and each university may nominate one case.
Outstanding Financial Aid Worker requires at least 2 years of experience in student aid work, with demonstrated innovation and notable achievements. Applicants must complete a recommendation form with a summary of up to 2,000 words. Each university may nominate up to 2 individuals.
Inspiring Student Success Story is open to current students or alumni within 5 years of graduation who have benefited from national financial aid policies. Submissions should follow a narrative approach centered on a standout achievement, rather than a comprehensive personal summary.
Key Dates
- Student applications: Students interested in the Inspiring Student Success Story category must submit their recommendation form and supporting materials to their college counselor by June 15 (Monday)
- College submission: Colleges must compile and send all materials to the Student Financial Aid Management Center at scholarship@stu.edu.cn by June 22 (Monday)
