About the Speaker
Sun Peng is a 2007 MFA graduate of the Cheung Kong School of Art and Design at STU, where he was among the first cohort of graduate students under renowned Hong Kong designer Kan Tai-Keung. He is currently an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the School of Fine Arts, South China Normal University. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Visual Communication Design Department at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, studied at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and was a state-sponsored visiting scholar at the College of Design at North Carolina State University. His design works have been exhibited internationally over 70 times, earning more than 80 international, national, and provincial awards, along with over 30 mentoring awards for student design competitions.
Additional Session
Sun Peng will also hold an industry sharing session for graduating students on May 23 (Saturday), 10:30–11:30 AM at the Dexin College meeting room, discussing career development and planning.
