Chemistry School & Zhixing Academy Host "Awaken Dopamine" Perler Beads Workshop

Event Details

• Theme: Fun “Lithium” Beads, Chemistry Meets Art
• Time: May 23, 2026 (Saturday), 3:00 PM
• Venue: Multi-function Hall, 2nd Floor, Zhixing Academy
• Capacity: 30 students from the Chemistry School and Zhixing Academy

Activities

Perler bead science mini-lesson: Student Li J. from the 2024 Applied Chemistry cohort will explain the thermoplastic principles behind Perler bead materials, basic techniques, and color coordination tips.

Dopamine creative session: Participants choose their favorite bead colors and pattern templates to create their own Perler bead art in a relaxed atmosphere.

Showcase and keepsake: Finished works can be displayed and shared on-site, and all creations are yours to keep.

Registration

Interested students should scan the event QR code and join the activity group by May 22 to confirm registration.

Notes

• Participants can earn second-class credit and aesthetic education module points by registering through the “DaoMeng KongJian” (到梦空间) app
• Registered participants should attend the full event. If unable to attend, please email 23yhwang3@stu.edu.cn at least 1 day in advance
