Visit to Guangdong Ocean University
On the afternoon of May 14, a three-member delegation from the STU School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering — led by Vice Dean Lu Fushen and Deputy Party Secretary Li Xiaoyan — visited the School of Chemistry and Environment at Guangdong Ocean University. Lu presented the school’s graduate program strengths across five dimensions: faculty, research platforms, talent development, academic exchange, and scholarships. The two sides held in-depth discussions on undergraduate training models, curriculum optimization, practical teaching, and graduate employment, sharing innovative practices and successful case studies.
Visit to Lingnan Normal University
On the morning of May 15, the delegation visited the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Lingnan Normal University for academic exchange and graduate recruitment outreach. Discussions focused on new approaches to training chemistry professionals in the contemporary era.
During the recruitment presentation, Lu provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s graduate admission policies, program offerings, and career prospects, highlighting stable enrollment scale, high-quality training, and strong career pathways. He addressed questions on research directions, faculty teams, and financial aid in a lively Q&A session.
Significance
This initiative is part of the school’s strategy to “go out, learn from others, and strengthen outreach.” The visits yielded valuable insights from peer institutions while effectively promoting the school’s graduate programs, opening a new chapter for 2026 graduate recruitment.
