Mental Health-Themed Garden Fair on May 24 at East Coast Campus

To mark National Student Mental Health Day on May 25, the Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication and Xingchuan College will co-host a “May Sunshine, Youth Companionship” mental health-themed garden fair on Sunday, May 24, 15:30-17:00 at the open area in front of the Second Canteen at the East Coast Campus.

Activities

The fair features 7 booths offering both interactive and DIY activities. Students can freely choose from options including perler bead crafting, dreamcatcher making, colored sand bottle art, botanical print bookmarks, yarn wrapping for emotional expression, sandbag toss for stress relief, and a high-five interaction station. The activities are designed to help students relax and unwind through hands-on creativity.

Registration

Students can sign up via the “Dao Meng Kong Jian” app on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will receive second classroom credits and comprehensive assessment aesthetic education module points.

Those unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances must submit a leave request through the app at least 24 hours before the event.
