Engineering College Seeks Logo Designs from All Students and Faculty — Top Prize ¥1,000

The Engineering College at Shantou University is inviting all students and faculty to submit designs for the college’s official logo. Guided by the motto “Precision in Engineering, Dedication in Practice; Innovation for the Future,” the college aims to establish a unified visual identity that reflects its engineering excellence and academic heritage.
Design Requirements
- Core Identity: Incorporate the college motto, reflect the EIP-CDIO talent development model and OBE teaching philosophy, and embody STU’s cultural heritage
- Versatile and Distinctive: Suitable for official documents, promotional materials, souvenirs, and digital media; clean, structured, and easily recognizable
- Format: A4-size design, either computer-generated (vector preferred, with JPG/PNG) or hand-drawn
- Design Statement: A detailed explanation (minimum 200 words) of the concept, symbolism, colors, and typography

Submit via email to o_gxy@stu.edu.cn by June 15, 2026. Use the subject line “汕头大学工学院院徽征集” and attach the design files and written statement.
Notes
All submissions must be original. By entering, designers grant the college the right to modify, display, and adopt the designs. The college retains full ownership and usage rights of the selected logo.
