The Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication and Xingchuan College will co-host the “Chaoshan Rhythm · Leaping Xingchuan” culture-themed cat-and-mouse chase game on May 23, 16:00-17:30. The event is open to all current students from both schools and combines Chaoshan culture trivia with an outdoor chase game.

How It Works

Each round involves 20 players divided into “cats” (chasers) and “mice” (evaders). While mice dodge capture, they must also answer Chaoshan culture quiz questions to earn points. Cats score by catching mice. Two rounds are planned.

The event will take place at the CDF Building and open areas near the Second Canteen.

Prizes and Credits

Prizes include Pop Mart figurines for first-place winners and glass cups for second-place finishers. All participants will also receive comprehensive assessment aesthetic education credits.

Registration

Interested students should register by May 22, 20:00 via QR code scan (the registration QR code and attachments are available on the OA system).

Participants are reminded to wear sports attire and shoes, and to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
