According to the Shantou University official WeChat account, the School of Continuing Education has released its 2026 non-degree education training curriculum, offering customized training services for government agencies and enterprises.

Curriculum Overview

The new curriculum is structured around three dimensions — ideological foundations, professional empowerment, and practical skills — covering over 30 specialized modules. Notable highlights include Chaoshan overseas Chinese culture and united front work, AI and digital governance, marine economy, rural revitalization, and public health — areas that leverage STU’s regional strengths.

The program also includes 7 field study routes covering landmark locations in the Chaoshan region, such as the Old Port Area, Qiaopi Museum, Chaozhou Ancient City, Nan’ao Island, and Shantou Science City.

Resources

STU is a provincial comprehensive university co-built by the Ministry of Education, Guangdong Province, and the Li Ka Shing Foundation, with 14 schools and 15 disciplines ranked in the global ESI top 1%. The two campuses — Sangpoushan and East Coast — provide modern teaching facilities and logistics support.
