1199 Students Awarded Academic Excellence Scholarships for 2013-2014, Public Notice Open Until Nov 3
The Student Affairs Office has announced the results of the 2013-2014 Academic Excellence Scholarship awards, with a total of 1,199 students recognized. Among them, 167 students received the first-prize scholarship (1,500 RMB/student/year), 427 received the second-prize scholarship (1,000 RMB/student/year), and 605 received the third-prize scholarship (500 RMB/student/year).
Selection Criteria
According to the “Shantou University Undergraduate Scholarship Management Measures” (Shan Fa [2014] No. 83), the Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded based on students’ GPA percentile ranking within their grade and major:

Public Notice Period
The list of recipients is now open for public review until 5:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2014. Any objections may be submitted in writing to the Student Financial Aid Management Center, Room 106, Administrative Center. Institutional submissions must bear an official seal, while individual submissions must include the submitter’s real name.
