Shantou University Launches 2015 Faculty Training Program Applications
To further strengthen the development of its academic staff and enhance their overall professional competence, the Human Resources Office of Shantou University has launched the 2015 Faculty Training Program application process, inviting all faculty members to submit proposals for professional development activities.
Training Program Categories
This year’s faculty training program covers the following categories:

| Domestic Visiting Scholar | Academic research at leading universities within China |
| Enterprise Practice | Professional practice at industry enterprises |
| Teaching Skills Training | Workshops on teaching methods and pedagogical skills |
Application Requirements
Colleges and departments are encouraged to attach great importance to faculty development initiatives and organize recommendations in alignment with discipline construction and academic staff planning. Applicants must complete the “Shantou University 2015 Faculty Training Program Application Form,” obtain review signatures and official seals from their respective departments, and submit the form along with supporting materials to the Faculty Development Section of the HR Office.
The application deadline is November 7, 2014, at 5:00 p.m.
