University Approves 19 Students for Major Transfer in Two Batches

It is reported that Shantou University, in accordance with the “Shantou University Undergraduate Student Status Management Regulations” (汕大发［2013］67号), conducted assessments for students from the Class of 2012 who applied for major transfer this semester.

After individual colleges evaluated applicants and submitted proposed acceptance lists, the Academic Affairs Office published the names of 14 students approved for transfer for a one-week public notice period. No objections were received during the posting period, and the university has formally approved these 14 students to transition to their new majors.

Additionally, five students from the Business School and the College of Arts were internally reassigned to different majors, effective from the Spring 2013-2014 academic semester.
